Around Mallorca's coastline from Cala d´Or there is a multiplicity of small and huge coves which break into the coastline. Only a few of these coves have sandy beaches in front of them. Typical is a cliff line which goes down under water and continues for approx.30m.
A lot of spots have lumps of rock in front of the cliff lines which offer a natural habitat for groupers, morays and octopuses. The offshore barrier reef offers a lot of different fish and plant types which give the diving spot its attractiveness.
The coastline stretches out from southeast across to the northwest - so diving in the morning and in the afternoon is possible because the steep coast and the coral reef stand in the sun - in the morning and in the afternoon.
The nature protected area Cabrera, with unforgettable beauty, is left in its natural state over many years, permission is needed and MDS approaches this area regularly.
One of the most beautiful grown wrecks was found there.
Open from 1. February to 31. December
